Question by signs_of_poetry: What are some of the benefits of the Weight Watchers Momentum Program aside from losing weight?
I’m looking at Weight Watchers, but I’m wondering how eating a balanced diet with these “filling foods” and a multivitamin affects someone, aside from weight loss

What do you eat on the program? What are some examples of what you would eat during a day? Would the program be okay to follow if you aren’t trying to lose weight?

I am actually a current weight watchers member and have been loosing weight successfully on the plan for almost 3 months know.

The program is easy to learn and very simple to implement. Weight Watchers members are given a certain amount of points that they are required to eat daily, based on their weight, height, age, gender, and physical activity level. All food and beverage items have a certain points value, based on the amount of calories, fat, and fiber they contain. As members eat through out the day, they calculate the points values for items that they consume in order to reach their daily points target. In addition to their daily points value, members have an added 35 allowance points.

Weight Watchers focuses on developing healthy eating habits as well. This is done not only through the 8 healthy food guidelines given to members, but by also encouraging them to chose “filling foods” whenever possible. Filling foods are simply foods that are able to keep you full longer in order to sustain healthy eating habits. Filling Foods include lean protein, fruit, vegetables, fat-free milk products, and whole grains. By focusing on these types of foods healthy eating habits are developed.

Here are some meal examples:

Breakfast:
-Eggs with oatmeal and a side of fruit
-Cereal with skim/soy/reduced fat milk
-Breakfast fruit smoothies or parfaits

Lunch:
-Lean meats (ham, roast beef) on whole wheat bread
-Salad with light dressing
-Tuna/Chicken Salad

Dinner:
-Whole grain pasta with red source or vegetables
-Fish (such as salmon) on a bed of vegetables
Grilled chicken with various sides

Snacks:
-Meal bars
-100 calorie packs
-Vegetables
-Fruit

There are so many options and possibilities as far as eating options go that it is up to you to experiment and explore different possibilities and combinations. You can eat anything as long as you are following the healthy guidelines and try to chose filling foods as much as possible.

And yes, you can also use the program if you are trying to maintain your weight. Talk to your meeting leader or weight watchers representative for more information on how you should adjust for that use of the program.

Best of luck!

تجنب ادوية الرجيم; I got really sick from taking Lipovox and this other crap Orovo, did anyone have the same problem?

منظمة الدواء الأمريكية تبين ادوية الرجيم الضارة

Question by Paul C.: I got really sick from taking Lipovox and this other crap Orovo, did anyone have the same problem?
These supplements ( Lipovox & Orovo ) are awful, I got really sick from them. I thought the worst thing that could happen is that they wouldn’t work but OMG! I was sick for about a week, with the runs. If we get enougth people, maybe we should sue this company that makes this stuff. A class action lawsuit to take this crap off the market.

I think the company is called Sybervision. http://www.sybervision.com/about.htm, owned by Steve De Vore. Get this, this idiot has reviews on their own products, as an “unbiased source.”

Obivously you can see how shady this company is.
Sybervision based their Lipovox and Orovo products on some other doctor’s “THEORY” of “SUPERFOODS”. So why do these guys try to trick you to think you can get these “SUPERFOODS” in a dietary supplement. Guess what, they come in FOOD!

Lipovox and Orovo are not good supplements and I would guess most of the ingredients in their products are fillers.
I already reported these guys to the FTC, so hopefully they will make them take down their riduculous claims.

Oh yeah, I caught that also about how they do reviews on their own products as an “unbiased source”. What a jok. Nice picture there Steve De Vore, http://www.sybervision.com/about.htm, you bald headed retard. :)

It’s really sad how people like this live with themselves by lying to others, just to make a buck. Maybe the polio he had when he was a kid got to his brain. I love how he mentions he did research at Standford. Did you notice how there is no mention of him attending that school, but doing research at it.
Yeah, i did some research at Harvard, they have nice grass.

Don’t buy Lipovox or Orovo they are rip off products mostly made with fillers.
