It just so happened that St. Louis-style ribs again were on special for an awesome .59 per pound at my local grocer. I was happy enough to oblige him with this video. In an era of nearly /lb bacon, ribs are a fantastic deal and serve as great way to continue the grilling season. I prefer the slow cook method to grilling ribs and chose to use the oven instead of the grill or smoker (which I don’t have) simply to preserve my propane supply as long as possible. SmokeyGoodness used his charcoal grill in his 4-Flip Ribs (bit.ly for that purpose. I’ll fully admit that is a better solution, but I don’t have a charcoal option currently. A couple final notes: * in between takes, I helped out at the annual Fall Festival for the Fire Department, which led to the change of shirts. * The sauce on top of the ribs is a low carb BBQ sauce from Heinz. Question by : How much is too much eggs, meat, mayo in Atkins diet?
I just started the Atkins diet/low carb and I understand that meat (hamburger, steak, pork chops mainly) eggs (boiled and scrambled), mayo & other 0 carb foods are great to eat but how much is too much? I know eating too much of these foods will definitely increase fat but just wondering what would constitute as too much? I am eating my recommended amount of carbs from veggies, so that part is fine. Thanks for your help!

Stop over-thinking it.
Cut out pretty much all added-sugar, grain, cereal, and flour foods and replace them with extra vegetables on your plate. Also, to a lesser degree, consume lower-sugar fruits and no-refined-oils-added + no/low salt nuts and seeds, in the place of those foods as well.
Exercise each muscle group 2x per week with light/moderate weight resistance exercises and higher reps. This down NOT build bigger muscles, but tones/sculpts what you have…and toned muscles are calorie burning machines 24-7, to boot.
That is a basic simplistic version of what I have been doing most of my adult life (age 47 now), to curb unhealthy net-carbohydrate intake, and it works. Male, 6ft2in, 180 pounds, 8-9% body fat ratio, perfect health, look like I am in my late 20′s today.
